YOUTH SUPPORT PROGRAMS
REACH FOR THE STARS	High School rreadiness and Career/College readiness services including counseling, peer support, groups, tutoring, academic support and assistance with prep school and college application and financial aid forms.
OST AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS	Education and enrichment activities for elementary and middle school students during after-school and school holidays.
SCAN 21st Century Community Learning Centers	Working intensively after-school with middle and high school students in East Harlem and the south Bronx to improve academic outcomes and graduation rates.
SCAN Young Adult Internship Program	The Young Adult Internship Program is open to young men and women between the ages of 16 and 24 who are not presently employed.
SCAN Beacon Programs	Provides a full range of youth activities including academic support, cultural, appreciation, creation arts enrichment, career education, counseling and peer support to over 1350 young people at each site.
SCAN Attendance Improvement Drop Out Prevention Program	Provides activities that engage "at risk" young people in school. Follow- up with young people who are not attending regularly. Offers student and family counseling and academic support.
Mastering the Keys	Career education and skills development for disengaged youth. Focus on court involvd youth.
Violence Prevention	Intensive individual group and family counseling for young people with a history of violence.
Anti-Gang Violence Youth Initiative	Workshops and training for community groups in relevant gang intervention techniques. Use of the Generations counseling model, stipend supported employment and leadership.
Somos El Futuro- Youth Leadership Program	Leadership Development Activities fro adolescents. Including team-building and shared decision making activities.
SCAN Advantage Schools Program	SCAN's summer camp works to help children have fun while developing school related skils and a greater knwoledge fund. Camp provides safe and educational recreation.
EDUCATION
SCAN Truancy Prevention Program	Provided in collaboration with the NYPD and with the Police Athletic League the Truancy Prevention Program connects the young people who have been truant from school with supportive services including counseling, academic support and supervised recreation.
LaGuardia Day Nursery	Pre-school group child care for 44 children ages 2 through 5.
SCAN SPICE Program	Provides daily in-classroom reading support for highest risk First Grade students. Trains parents to be reading coaches. and work to create a community of readers at schools.
SCAN Supplemental Educational Services	100 hours of tutoring services in English language arts for each enrolled student.
Scan Adolecent Literacy Program	Provide intensive, systematic literacy support to 25 middle school students with undeveloped leteracy skills.
Scan Family Literacy Services	Provides intensive, systematic Literacy support for 25 students/parents with poor literacy skills.
Family Support
SCAN Food Pantry	Emergency food packages for community residents unable to make ends meet. Services tailors to met dietry needs of East Harlem residents.
NYPD/SCAN Home visiting	Police Officers and SCAN caseplanners visit the homes of juvenile offenders working to ensure young people and their families have the support needed to make positive progress.
SCAN Safe Haven	Program provides general and intensive preventive services for parents indentified as "risk" for child abuse. Blends services with substance abuse treatment.
Scan Preventive Services	Program provides general preventive service for parents identified as "at risk" for child abuse.
SCAN Substance Abuse Treatment	Provides individual and group treatment for substance abusing adults, families and adolescents.
SCAN Substance Abuse Prevention	Provides educational and counseling workshops tp prevent adolescent substance abuse.
SCAN Domestic Violence Services (DoVE)	Provides outreach, counseling, referrals, and advocacy to victims of domestic violence.
Community Partners Initiative	Partnership of 40 + community based agencies working together to address the needs of children in foster care, perventive services, and child care.
